PAM00375

Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days

When the engineers from PANERAI in Neuchâtel give free rein to their imagination, the result is an interesting mix of new technology and historic designs. The PAM00375 has already been presented to the public at the SIHH 2011 luxury watch trade fair in Geneva. Due to the development process for the new PANERAI composite materials for the casing, it took 5 years before the PAM 375 could finally be delivered.

With a casing diameter of 47mm, the PAM00375 is equivalent to the historic original watch from the 1950s. OFFICINE PANERAI have integrated the P.3000/1 calibre into the Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days watch. The work can be viewed on the rear side of the casing through brown-tinted sapphire glass. When fully wound, the mechanical manual winding mechanism supplies the energy stored in two spring barrels uniformly within 3 days.

Composite

The Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days PAM 375 watch has a dark-brown casing and a sandwich dial. The hours, minutes and small seconds are located at the 9 o’clock position. The advantage provided by this newly-developed Composite casing is that it weighs lighter than steel or ceramic. The integrated, scratch-resistant sapphire glass offers the viewer a distortion-free view of the dial.

1950
