This wonderfully-designed PANERAI PAM 112 from Florence, Italy is a chronometer with a casing made of polished AISI 316L steel and a black sandwich dial. The PANERAI Luminor Base Acciaio PAM 112 comes with fluorescent numerals and markings. The bracelet, made of black-dyed calf leather, is mounted on a pin buckle made of polished stainless steel.
The bright Arabic numerals and markings of this PANERAI PAM 112, made of Super-LumiNova®, are clearly recognisable and easy to read, even in low-light conditions. The light-green hour and minute hands are fluorescent at night and it is also water-resistant to 30 bar (around 300 meters).
The casing of this precious timepiece is made of stainless steel and highly resistant AISI 316 L steel. It has a diameter of 44mm, with a height of 14.85mm. This model contains the historic crown-protection, and the bezel, like the casing, is made of polished steel. The black calf leather strap with black stitching is closed with a buckle made of polished stainless steel, again matching the casing.
The special feature of the Panerai PAM 112 is the caseback made of transparent sapphire crystal, through which the wheels of the movement can be observed very well. In addition, the sapphire crystal above the dial, which is 3.5mm thick, makes this very durable and is a scratch-resistant material. Calibre OP X, a mechanical movement with manual winding, powers the watch and offers a power reserve of 56 hours.
In addition, it has Incabloc® anti-shock device, Glucydur® balance and a swan neck regulator. The kit includes a screwdriver and a black rubber band. The PANERAI PAM 112 is also famous from the movies as Josh Hartnett wore a Marina Base with a Velcro strap in the film “Hollywood Homicide”.
