Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic Acciaio

OFFICINE PANERAI presents the Luminor 1950 Collection as an enhancement to selected bestsellers in the Luminor 1950 range. In the very early days, Guido Panerai only made his PANERAI watches exclusively for the military, under conditions of the strictest secrecy. The Luminor Marina, with small seconds display at the 9 o’clock position, was famous for its unmistakable design. The brand OFFICINE PANERAI - famous all over the world.

The 42mm polished stainless steel case is thanks to it's crown protection water resistance to 100 meters. It comes with a white dial and black arabic numbers. A blue small second at 9 o'clock. Beige Super-Luminova dots and hands that match perfectly to the 22/20 dark brown Assolutamente calf leather strap with beige stitches. The PAM 1523 comes also with a polished stainless steel buckle.

The diameter of the PAM 1523 case is 42mm. White dial! The date is at the 3 o’clock position, and small seconds at the 9 o’clock position. The hands and luminous points on the Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic Acciaio are in beige-coloured Super-LumiNova. To go with this, the strap is in dark-brown “Assolutamente” calf-leather with beige stitching.

The most popular Luminor models, in a slimmer version

The Luminor 1950 Collection contains 3-day automatic watches, with case diameters of either 42mm or 44mm. Both white and black dials are used in these steel or Carbotech™ watches. The PAM 1523 has a case diameter of 42 millimetres, which means it is very comfortable to wear, above all for those with slimmer wrists. OFFICINE PANERAI has used polished AISI 316L steel for the case. This material does not rust, it is hypoallergenic and resistant to corrosion. The white dial, with beige Super-LumiNova luminous points is rounded off with a dark-brown “Assolutamente” calf-leather strap. The striking, blue seconds display at the 9 o’clock position is a particular trademark of the 1950 Collection.

Movement produced in-house

The transparent, sapphire glass caseback guarantees a clear view of the calibre P.9010. A mechanical automatic movement, which has been completely developed and manufactured by OFFICINE PANERAI. Two barrels deliver the energy for a power reserve of 3 days. The complete mechanism consists of 200 components. It can withstand fluctuating temperatures of -10°C to +60°C. The Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic Acciaio is guaranteed watertight to a depth of 100 meters. Anyone who opts for the PAM 1523 will get a modern, PANERAI timepiece with over 60 years of experience in construction of divers’ watches.
