This classy timepiece from PANERAI 1993 Luminor collection is captivating due not only to its casing, which is made of rust-free, polished AISI 316L steel, but also due to the popular alligator-leather wrist band. The historic crown protection bridge is made of polished steel, while the housing of the PANERAI PAM 164 is crafted from satin-finished steel. This watch is equipped with the automatic mechanical calibre OP III. The date display is located next to the small second on the black watch dial.
The bright numerals on the black dial are extremely easy to make out, even in darkness, thanks to Super-LumiNova®-pigments. In addition to the small second, the PANERAI PAM 164 also has a date display at the 3 o’clock position, and the automatic mechanism offers the comfort of a power reserve of 42 hours.
The oscillating weight has been personalised with PANERAI’s decorative lettering. The PAM 164 is also equipped with a Glucydur® balance, an Incabloc® anti-shock device and the calibre OP III. The case has a diameter of 44mm, and the screwed caseback is made of high-quality, satin-finished AISI 316L steel, while the bezel is made of a matching polished steel.
The non-reflecting, scratch-proof glass features a magnifier at the 3 o’clock position above the date display and is made of 3.5mm thick sapphire glass. In addition to the high-quality, extremely robust materials used in the casing, watch glass and bezel, this watch is also fitted with an antique-brown coloured watch strap made of alligator-leather, which is closed by means of a satin-finished steel deployant buckle.
The watch is water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 meters). The movement was tested and certified by C.O.S.C. for accuracy. A second exchangeable strap is included in delivery.
