Luminor Base Titanio

By using a new material, the PANERAI Luminor Base Titanio PAM 176 manages to distinguish itself from the timeless contrast of steel casing combined with a monochrome dial. Despite being a metal which is both valuable and difficult to process, titanium produces a new, colourful bezel. It is also impressive thanks not only to its resistance to corrosion, but also due to its mechanical characteristics. In keeping with the unique design of the legendary PANERAI Luminor, the titanium alloy blends in well with the black, large-size sandwich dial without compromising its unmistakable purist arrangement.

The use of titanium for the 44mm wide watch case is due to the metal’s ruggedness and high value, a consequence of continuous development, which the watches from OFFICINE PANERAI are known for. If you would rather not give up the advantages of the skin-friendly material, the lightweight PANERAI PAM 176 is the right timepiece for you. With regard to performance and functionality, titanium performs extremely well, even in seawater, reliably protecting the watch’s movement. Despite possessing the same strength as steel, titanium actually weighs much less.

Treasured by every Paneristi

Due to the robust and unique construction method of the casing, with solidly worked lugs and patented crown protection, water-resistance up to 30 bar (~ 300 meters) remains a hallmark of this divers’ watch. The Luminor Base Titano is breathtaking with its satin-finished surface, which very effectively emphasises the sporty character of the Luminor models - but without compromising its elegant features. This punctuates the symmetrically-designed, black sandwich-dial with fluorescent Arabic numerals and markings. The only details that can be found on the watch face are the names Luminor and PANERAI.

Finest watchmaker’s art behind a glassy base

The 3.5mm thick, non-reflecting sapphire watch glass not only protects the watch’s movement, but the same material also acts as a transparent casing base, allowing you to take in the re-worked mechanisms at a glance. These include a mechanical calibre OP X with 21,600 alternations/hour, a Glucydur® balance, Incabloc® anti-shock device, swan-neck fine adjustment and re-modelled bridges.

The legendary, timelessly valuable divers’ watch

With the help of the manual winder, the Luminor Base Titanio is able to maintain a power reserve of 56 hours. A dark brown leather strap with ecru coloured seams and a large titanium buckle have been fitted onto the watch. An additional wrist band and matching steel screwdriver are included in the delivery.
