The PAM 177, from the PANERAI Luminor 1993 collection, is nothing less than a valuable chronometer made of titanium with a precious alligator-leather strap. Besides a mechanical movement with manual winding, this classic is equipped with non-reflecting sapphire glass. The sandwich dial stands out with clear, easily readable Arabic numerals and markings. These are easy to read even in darkness, thanks to the Super-LumiNova® pigments, making them subtly fluorescent in green.
On the black dial you will find hours and minutes displayed and in addition a small second, which is located at 9. This high quality chronometer is water-resistant up to 30 bar (300 meters) and delights its wearer with a 56 hour power reserve. The casing of the PANERAI PAM 177 is made of titanium and features a diameter of 44mm a height of 15mm.
Besides the historic crown protection bridge of satined titanium and a Glucydur® balance, this watch possesses a Incabloc® anti-shock device and a swan-neck fine adjustment. The bezel is, just as the watch's casing, made of satined titanium, while the base of the housing consists of transparent hard-wearing sapphire glass. The watch glass is also made of hard-wearing sapphire glass and features a thickness of 3.5mm. To prevent any unpleasant glare when reading the time, this watch's face is anti-glare.
Because the casing and the bezel are made of titanium, this watch is lightweight and pleasant to wear next to the skin. Titanium is an ideal material for watches, given that this extraordinary material is very resistant to corrosion.
The watch is manufactured from brown coloured alligator-leather, which gives this wristwatch a high quality character. The strap is closed by a simple titanium pin buckle with an historic design. Of course, the movement of this exceptional model was tested for accuracy and awarded with the C.O.S.C. certificate.
