With the Luminor 1950 3 Days Titanio DLC, OFFICINE PANERAI is launching a 47mm case with a crown-protection. The manually-wound calibre P.3000/1 delivers the energy required. When fully-wound, it ensures the watch can run uninterrupted for 3 days without having to be wound again. The matt DLC coated titanium case is new to this model.
The black sandwich dial is finished with luminous Super Luminova material. The warm shade of the Arabic numerals and hands perfectly matches the Luminor Panerai lettering at 12 o’clock and the sought-after OP (OFFICINE PANERAI) logo at the 6 o’clock position. The matt black hands are also particularly effective.
The PAM 617 displays hours and minutes, plus small seconds at the 9 o’clock position. The famous crown-protection bracket at the 3 o’clock position makes the Luminor 1950 case guaranteed watertight to 100m. The brushed titanium caseback is particularly sought after amongst all collectors.
Production of the Luminor 1950 3 Days Titanio DLC is strictly limited to 300 watches. DLC stands for a very hard, black coating. DLC = “Diamond Like Carbon“ This non-metallic, diamond-like carbon coating surrounds the glass-bead blasted titanium case. This makes the case matt, not shiny.
Ex works, PANERAI delivers the PAM 617 with a dark-brown calfskin leather “Ponte Vecchio” strap. The stitching here matches the Arabic numerals and indices on the dial. The black Luminor 1950 case harmonises wonderfully with it. This gives you the impression that the PAM00617 is cast from a single mould.
