The PANERAI Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio features a 42-mm diameter case. The black sandwich dial comes with cream-coloured Super-LumiNova®. The PAM 620 has hours, minutes and small seconds at the 9.00 o’clock position.
Due to its enormous popularity with women customers and in the Asian market, OFFICINE PANERAI has further developed the case on the Radiomir 1940 size 42mm. The aim of this development was to create a particularly flat case. So the movement had to live up to these demanding requirements. Therefore, the PANERAI Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio features the calibre P.4000, a mechanical manufacturer’s calibre with automatic winding.
PANERAI has built a mechanical movement, developed in the Swiss manufacturer’s facilities, into the PAM 620. With a power reserve of 72 hours, the micro-rotor on the P.4000 calibre delivers the power the Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio needs. The 42mm case is guaranteed watertight to 100 meters, which corresponds to a pressure of approx. 10 bar.
OFFICINE PANERAI’s high quality requirements guarantee many years of pleasure and high retention of value. The PANERAI Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Acciaio has a black alligator-leather strap and ecru coloured contrast stitching. The case is a development of the Radiomir from 1936. The PAM 620 case does indeed feature the fixed lugs, but not the crown-protection bracket famous in Luminor models.
The reduced-diameter, 42mm case on the Radiomir 1940 3 Days Acciaio comes in a very wearable size. The classic, sandwich design dial with small seconds at 9.00 o’clock goes perfectly with the proportions of the case. Wearing the PAM 620 is very straightforward thanks to the automatically-wound calibre P.4000. The perfect PANERAI for everyday wear.
