Radiomir 1940 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Automatic Acciaio

PANERAI is presenting all functions of the timepiece at a glance with PAM 628. Power reserve at the 5 o’clock position. Date on the 3 o’clock position. Small seconds and day |night indicator (AM/PM) at 9 o’clock. The black hand is particularly discreet for the second time zone, which when not used, remains hidden behind the hour hand. Even in this version, OFFICINE PANERAI installed the “Clous de Paris” dial. In doing so, the entire time display appears to be three-dimensional. The beige hands and indexes can be read very clearly, which perfectly match the beige seams of the black calfskin strap.

Once again, OFFICINE PANERAI with reference PAM 628, is showing off its competences in all things concerning watch making. Radiomir 1940 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Automatic Acciaio is characterised by a very clear display of all functions on the particular dial. In this model, PANERAI installed a mechanical movement with automatic winding and a power reserve of 72 hours. All case components of PAM00628 are made of high-gloss finished steel.

The perfect companion

The polished winding crown however, still appears to be luxurious on the 45 mm case. Here, “as in the original” PANERAI is using a screwed crown. All Paneristi will immediately love the milled out “OP logo” in the winding crown. The OFFICINE PANERAI lettering and the OP logo can also be found on the P.4002 calibre and in the micro-rotor. The power reserve is achieved with two spring barrels linked in series. To set the time, the small second and the balance-wheel are stopped. In doing so, time can be set very precisely.

Decentralised oscillating weight

With the PAM 628, Radiomir 1940 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Automatic Acciaio, PANERAI guarantees a watertightness of 100 meters although a transparent sapphire glass has been inserted into the bottom of the case. This speaks for precise processing of the polished case components made of stainless AISI 316L steel.

The classic

OFFICINE PANERAI is presenting an automatic movement with a 3 day power reserve with the P.4002 calibre. The 288 components are driven by a decentralised micro-rotor. The balance-wheel swings with 28.800 half oscillations per hour. The merely 4.80mm strong in-house development from Neuchâtel also has a KIF Parechoc® anti-shock device and two spring barrels. The accustomed quality of PANERAI speaks for a long life-cycle and a good value preservation.
