PAM00643

Radiomir Ceramica

Item is in stock.

With the Radiomir Ceramica, PANERAI presents a classic pocket watch with the popular 45mm diameter. The PAM 643 features a mechanical movement with manual winding. PANERAI have incorporated the robust calibre OP X. The two-hand watch only shows minutes and hours. The screwed caseback is also milled from black coated titanium to match the black ceramic case.

OFFICINE PANERAI has been producing divers’ watches since 1936. Guido Panerai’s first customer was the Italian navy. OFFICINE PANERAI has belonged to the Richemont company since 1997, and produces all PANERAI watches in Neuchâtel. The new PAM 643 features a 45mm wide ceramic case and is watertight to 100 meters. The dial with the “Clous de Paris” face bears the name Radiomir at the 12 o’clock position and PANERAI at the 6 o’clock position.

The classic

PANERAI is known for technical innovation and the highest possible quality. Ceramic has been used as a raw material in the watch industry for a decade now. This material has delighted Paneristi all over the world. Above all, this great popularity is a result of the matt-black look and scratch-resistance compared to other materials.

Black beauty

Apart from hours and minutes, PANERAI has left out all other functions quite deliberately in the PAM 643. This means the dial exudes a certain air of calm. Of course, the luminous numerals are made of Luminova. However, the colour of the Arabic numerals 3, 6. 9 and the indices is particularly eye-catching. On the PAM00643, these are a gentle beige colour to match the “ecru” stitching. But at night they shine luminous green.

Perfection

PANERAI Radiomir models do not have the classic crown-protection bridge of post-war models. This means all Radiomir models make a very delicate impression. The elegant appearance is broken up by the roughened, black, sporty-looking calfskin strap. With the PANERAI Radiomir Ceramica, OFFICINE PANERAI have once more proved that the manufacturer can launch very detail-conscious new models. PANERAI is expanding the Radiomir 1936 collection in 2015 with this model. This means the PAM 643 is replacing the previous model PAM 292 presented in 2007.
