Luminor Marina 1950 Carbotech™ 3 Days Automatic

The new “Luminor 1950 Collection“ series consists of the bestselling Luminor 1950 models. A flatter case is the trademark of all the models in this collection. The Luminor Marina 1950 Carbotech™ 3 Days Automatic, with a diameter of 44mm, has a power reserve of three days and is completely watertight to a depth of 300 meters. The new Carbotech™ case is particularly striking.

Delivery times for this product are dependent on PANERAI and can take several weeks.

PANERAI has built a calibre P.9010 into the PAM 661. This automatic movement, with the functions hour, minute, date and small seconds, has been newly developed by OFFICINE PANERAI in Neuchâtel. The movement is only 6mm high and consists of 200 components, including two barrels which guarantee a power reserve of 3 days.

New materials for a classic

The Luminor Marina 1950 Carbotech™ 3 Days Automatic from the PANERAI Luminor 1950 Collection is one of PANERAI’S really special creations. OFFICINE PANERAI has given the PAM00661 a case made of Carbotech™. Following in the footsteps of the PAM00616, it is the second PANERAI model with a Carbotech™ case. But it’s the first Luminor Marina from PANERAI, with a Carbotech™ case. The matt-black Carbotech™ consists of four layers of carbon fibre. This it means it differs optically depending on the cut of the material. This makes every individual PAM 661 unique, and different from every other Luminor Marina 1950 Carbotech™ 3 Days Automatic. At a technical level, Carbotech™ also delivers extraordinary performance and load-bearing capacity.

The perfect divers’ watch

The exclusive material is hypoallergenic, extremely light and very resistant to corrosion. This ensures it is very pleasantly comfortable to wear. The black dial emphasises the simple elegance of the PAM 661’s dark Carbotech™ case. The Arabic numerals and luminous points on this PANERAI consist of beige-coloured Super-LumiNova.

Black, in contrast to the beige numerals and hands.

To go with this, the stitching on the dark-brown “Ponte Vecchio” calf-leather strap is also beige-coloured. The name Ponte Vecchio refers to the oldest bridge in the Italian city of Florence. It is made of high-quality, dark-brown calf-leather, which provides a gorgeous contrast to the beige stitching. The small, blue seconds hand on the dial of the PAM00661 is particularly eye-catching. This is part of all models in the Luminor Marina 1950 Collection, and it underlines the sporty appearance of the watch. There may be bottlenecks in delivery due to the high level of demand.
