Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio

In the second world war OFFICINE PANERAI was the leading suplier for nautical instruments. Guido Panerai also made the first diving watch for the italine navy. To protect the diver's origin OFFICINE PANERAI deleted the brand name Rolex out of the movement. And didn't put any brand name to the dial. To honor this historical part of the brand history, OFFICINE PANRAI presendet PAM00721 Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio in 47mm.

This model represents the iconic Diving watch from 1930 made with a Rolex movement at this time. Guido Panerai made the Sandwich dial with radium to make it glow in the dark.

The military secret

This 47mm Radiomir comes with a black sandwich dial and blue hands. Beige Super-LumiNova arabic numerals, hour markers and hands. No brand engraving at the dial at all. OFFICINE PANERAI create this watch because it should look like the historical Radiomir case that was designed in 1936.

The icon

The well known inhouse movement P.3000 keeps the watch running. You can see the movement thru the sapphire caseback. The power reserve is 3 days. That means you only have to winde it up after 3 days. With 161 components it is one of the most robust movements.

The all time classic

If a design from 1930 survived it will stay for ever. This is the reason why thi PAM 721 is so powerfull today. It comes from factory with a brown Ponte Vecchio strap with beige stitching. And if you allready have everything in your PANRAI collection the PAM00721 Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio in 47mm is the one to add.
