The case of the PANERAI PAM 090 with mechanical automatic movement is made of stainless AISI 316 L steel, just like the bezel. The caseback is screwed and, like the historical crown protection, is made of steel. On the black dial, the power reserve indicator is on the 5 o'clock position next to the date at the 3 o'clock position and the small seconds are attached to the 9 o'clock position.
The power reserve indicator on the 5 o'clock position, the date display at the 3 o'clock position, and the Arabic numerals are treated with Super-LumiNova® so they are clearly visible even in the dark.
This elegant Luminor Power Reserve Acciaio PAM 090 from the 1993 collection of PANERAI is water-resistant to 30 bar (around 300 meters) and has a power reserve of 42 hours. It has a power reserve indicator, and the amount of energy remaining can be read on the dial. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal has a magnifying lens over the date display. In addition to the exclusive calibre PANERAI OP IX, the PAM 090 has a Glucydur® balance spring and the reliable Incabloc® anti-shock device.
The casing of this PANERAI Luminor Power Reserve Acciaio is 16.75mm in height. The casing of the PANERAI PAM 090 has a diameter of 44mm, composed of the highly corrosion-resistant steel AISI 316L. Since this is hypo-allergenic, it is ideal for contact with the skin. The steel of the bezel and crown protection were mirror-polished for this model.
The scratch-resistant corundum of the 2.5mm thick sapphire crystal has been optically-coated to ensure optimum legibility of the digits. The strap of this classy chronometer is made of black-coloured alligator-leather and is closed with a stainless steel folding clasp.
