Verona black vs. Assolutamente black

The black PANERAI calf leather strap (right site) belongs to the OEM straps of OFFICINE PANERAI. The brushed black leather is so called Assolutamente black. On the back there is a black goatskin. And is not completely harmless on the skin due to the chemical tanning process. The price of 220 CHF incl. 7.7% VAT is just as expensive as conventional PANERAI calfskin bracelets. However, experience has shown that goatskin wristbands can cause skin irritations again and again. This is because the thin goatskin cannot absorb enough sweat on our skin. Especially in warm countries with high humidity the unpleasant smell of a worn bracelet is well known. For this reason CHRONOMETRYX has created an strap with the famous Italian manufacturer Alcantara®. Our black Viareggio bracelet is skin-friendly and absorbs much more sweat than conventional PANERAI straps. CHRONOMETRYX bracelets are characterized by the fact that they are very skin-friendly and at the same time the price had to be lower than the OEM product. This was very important for us as our customers have been changing the straps for less than 12 months for hygienic reasons. With the introduction of the new Alcantara® collection, we have succeeded in offering a clever alternative. The CHRONOMETRYX strap convinces not only in terms of its workmanship but also in terms of price/performance. The Alcantara® on the inside increases wearing comfort and sweat absorption.
