Viareggio brown vs. Assolutamente brown

The PANERAI Assolutamente strap (right site) is one of the most popular OEM tapes from OFFICINE PANERAI. It consists of a light brown calfskin with a grained, matt surface. A dark brown goatskin is worked into the backside. At a price of 220 CHF incl. 7.7% VAT, it costs the same as other PANERAI calfskin straps. However, our experience has shown that goatskin straps can cause skin irritations. And is incompatible on the skin due to the aggressive tanning agents. This is because the thin goatskin cannot absorb enough sweat on our skin. Especially in warm countries with high humidity the unpleasant smell of a worn bracelet is known. For this reason CHRONOMETRYX has created an strap with the well-known Italian manufacturer Alcantara®. Our Viareggio bracelet is skin-friendly and absorbs much more sweat than conventional PANERAI straps. The goal in the development phase was to develop a strap that exceeds the high quality requirements and at the same time offers more comfort. In addition, the price should be lower than the OEM product. We succeeded in doing this. The CHRONOMETRYX strap convinces not only in terms of workmanship but also in terms of price/performance. The Alcantara® on the inside increases wearing comfort and sweat absorption.
