The highest precision with an historical dial. The new red and gold jewel of the series is limited to only 100 examples and stands out with utmost precision in historical garb. In the case of the PANERAI PAM 519 made of highly polished red gold, a hand-wound movement Calibre OP XXV is installed.
The dial was first designed in 1930 in this divided form. The brown California Chronograph dial with Arabic and Roman numerals has been used on the Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Oro Rosso, underlining the historical character of the PANERAI PAM 519. On the edge of the dial, there is a tachymeter scale. Hands and numerals are written in the golden-red colouring perfectly on the refined housing made of polished red gold with a touch of platinum. Instead of sapphire crystal, Plexiglas is used for the model, bringing the watch - inspired by the historic Panerai models from 1930 - into the future. The transparent caseback gives a view of the finely finished movement, the Minerva factory was christened by Panerai OP XXV.
The red gold version, reference PAM 519, has only had 100 editions created. With the alloy of 18K gold, the intensive shade of red is achieved by imbuing a high percentage of copper, while the titanium content prevents oxidation. On the screwed crown, the OP logo is emblazoned. The polished red gold buttons for the chronograph functions are located at the usual 2 and 4 o'clock positions.
For the 1940 model, there was no crown-protection, and so is not featured with the PAM 519. The diameter of the clock is 45 millimetres. It is, frankly, a great timepiece with a perfectly colour-coordinated strap in brown alligator-leather with emblazoned logo and a polished buckle in 18K red gold. With the PANERAI Radiomir 1940 Oro Rosso Chronograph you have the opportunity to purchase one of the most exclusive models from the Florentine watch manufacturer.
